A cluster administrator can install WebSphere® Liberty operator in
an air gap environment by using a bastion server with external internet access, or by using physical
media.
About this task
You can install WebSphere Liberty operator in
an air gap environment by using either of two methods, depending on your network configuration.
Follow the instructions for Installing in an air gap environment by using a bastion server if your
bastion host has access to the public internet, the private registry where all the container images
are to be mirrored, and the Red Hat® OpenShift® Container Platform cluster. If
you do not have a bastion host, use the instructions for Installing in an air gap environment by using physical media to download and package the container images
into an archive, transport the archive into the air gap environment, and install the
product.
