Planning for IBM Case Manager installation
IBM® Case Manager depends on IBM Case Foundation on the IBM FileNet® P8 Platform for content and process management. You can take advantage of an existing installation for your IBM Case Manager environment, or you can install a new IBM FileNet P8 Platform. You also have the option of installing a complete IBM Case Manager environment, including IBM FileNet P8 Platform, on a single server.
Installation with a distributed IBM FileNet P8 Platform environment
You can install IBM Case Manager on a server that is part of an IBM FileNet P8 Platform environment. The server where you install IBM Case Manager must also have a supported application server and IBM Content Navigator installed.
You can also customize your IBM Case Manager system by adding applications that expand the capabilities of the system.
