Sample applications

IBM® Streams includes sample applications to help you understand and write your own.

You can find those samples in the product-installation-root-directory/4.2.0.0/samples directory. To work with the samples in Streams Studio, simply import them into your Eclipse workspace: In Streams Studio, select File > Import > Streams Studio > Sample SPL Application. In the Import Sample Application window, expand the IBM Streams node and select the sample SPL applications that you want to import.

In addition to the samples that are shipped with the product, you can download more than 100 readily usable IBM Streams SPL samples from GitHub: http://ibmstreams.github.io/streamsx.documentation/samples/

The sample package is accompanied by a document (available as PDF file) giving an overview of the samples in the package and instructions for importing the samples into Streams Studio.
