You can remove all of the installed IBM® Content
Classification components from your
system or select individual components that you want to remove.
Before you begin
Before you remove
IBM Content
Classification on AIX®, Linux,
or Solaris, you must stop the
IBM Content
Classification server
component. To stop the server, change to the
Classification_Home/Bin directory
and enter
./bnsRun stop.

Procedure
- Start the appropriate program for your operating system:

From your home directory, run the Uninstall_IBM_Content_Classification_8.8 soft
link. You can also enter the following command from the Classification_Home/Uninstall_ContentClassification8.8 directory:

Click You can also run the Uninstall_ContentClassification8.8.exe command
in a command window. This command is located in the Classification_Home\Uninstall_ContentClassification8.8 directory.

By default, the installation program removes IBM Content
Classification by using the same mode
as you used during installation. For example, if you installed IBM Content
Classification in silent mode, IBM Content
Classification is removed in silent
mode.
To change the mode in which you remove IBM Content
Classification, specify the mode when
you run the Uninstall_ContentClassification8.8 file.
For example on AIX, run ./Uninstall_ContentClassification8.8
-i gui to remove IBM Content
Classification in
graphical mode, or run ./Uninstall_ContentClassification8.8
-i console to remove IBM Content
Classification in console mode.
- When the list of installed components is displayed, clear
the check boxes next to the components that you want to remove from
the system and click Next.
- Follow the instructions in the program to complete
the removal of the selected components from your system.
- If prompted, restart the system to complete the
removal of IBM Content
Classification.
