Content Classification receives
texts as a series of fields. The field definition defines the
data type and method of language processing that is performed on the
field.
About this task
You can import fields from an external source. Choose
to replace the existing fields or add new field definitions to the
set of fields that are available to all knowledge bases.
To
import field definitions:
Procedure
- In the console tree, right-click Field definitions and
select Import fields.
- In the Import Field Definitions window,
click Browse to select the file that you want
to import or type the path and file name. If you are working
on a client computer:
- The path that you specify must be a network path, not a local
path.
- The domain of your computer must trust the server's domain.
- The folder to which you want to export the field definitions must
be shared and defined as Full Control.
- In the Importing options area,
specify whether you want to replace the existing field definitions
with the fields that you are importing or add the fields that you
are importing to the existing set of field definitions.
- To apply your changes, restart all decision plans
and knowledge bases.
