Management Console

To administer an IBM® Content Classification system, you use the Management Console.

You can use the Management Console to:

Set global options for IBM Content Classification, such as saving event data for future analysis or specifying options for processing feedback.
Add knowledge bases and decision plans to IBM Content Classification.
Start and stop knowledge bases and decision plans.
Modify knowledge base and decision plan properties.
Export knowledge bases and decision plans. For example, you might want to export a knowledge base so that you can analyze it in Classification Workbench and then import the tuned knowledge base back into IBM Content Classification.
Add and modify field definitions.
View information about the servers that run Content Classification components.

The Management Console user interface is divided into two panes. The console tree on the left lists the elements that you can administer (Content Classification global properties, knowledge bases, decision plans, field definitions, text extractors, and servers). The list view on the right displays the results for the selected element.
