About the installation
The Rational® Test Workbench Web
UI Tester
installation package includes several products and components. These can be installed together or
separately.
The Rational Test Workbench package
includes the following products and components:
- Rational Test Workbench Web UI Tester
- IBM® Rational Integration Tester
- IBM Rational Test Control Panel
- IBM Rational Performance Tester
- IBM Rational Functional Tester
Note: From Rational Test Workbench version
8.7.1 onwards, the Rational Integration Tester
Platform Pack component
does not exist. All the technology-specific tool packages and the
HTTP/TCP proxy components are now available with Rational Test Control Panel.

Note: If you purchased IBM Rational Test Virtualization Server or
IBM Rational Performance Test Server, you must install the IBM Rational Integration Tester Agent. The
Rational Integration Tester
Agent
is available with the Rational Test Virtualization
Server or
Rational Performance Test Server
installation packages. You must download and install the agent separately from Rational Test Workbench.

All products in the package are supplied with 30-day trial licenses. Before the trial expires, you must install permanent licenses for the product. For more information about licensing options, see Managing licenses.
