Testing Java applications that use HTTP

To enable testing the Java™ application that uses HTTP, you must configure the application to use the HTTP/TCP proxy.

You can configure a stand-alone Java application to use the HTTP/TCP proxy by changing the HTTP properties for the application.

Some Java applications use Apache HTTP client libraries to make HTTP requests. These libraries do not support the standard Java system property settings for HTTP proxies. In such cases, you must manually change the application to use proxy settings. As an alternative, the Java virtualization agent can be used inject the proxy settings.
