Adding volumetric information to a data model

To add volumetric information to a data model:

1. Enter volumetric information for a logical data model.
   1. Select a logical data model object in the Data Project Explorer or in a diagram, and highlight an entity or an attribute object.
   2. Click Window > Show View > Properties to open the Properties view, if the view is not already open.
   3. Click Volumetrics and specify the volumetric information. See the related information for details about each available field.
   4. Save the logical data model.
2. Enter volumetric information for a physical data model.
   1. Select a physical data model object in the Data Project Explorer or in a diagram, and highlight a table or a column object. If the data model targets DB2® for z/OS®, you can also highlight an index object.
   2. Click Window > Show View > Properties to open the Properties view, if the view is not already open.
   3. Click Volumetrics and specify the volumetric information. See the related information for details about each available field.
   4. Save the physical data model.
