Creating, managing, and accessing IMS mobile services
Mobile service creation and management functions are provided by the IMS™ Explorer for Development.
About this task
- Define a connection profile that consists of a name for the profile, the IMS host name and port number, IMS data store name, and other optional properties.
- Import a COBOL copybook or PL/I source file to map the input and output messages.
- Define an interaction properties profile.
- Enable and publish the service by selecting fields to include in the interface and specifying any default field values.
- Start, stop, edit, test, and delete the service.
