IMS Mobile Feature Pack for z/OS Connect is no longer enhanced. Instead, use the IMS service provider that is included in
IBM z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition V2.0.5 (APAR PI70432) or later, which not only supports later releases of the Liberty server but additionally provides support for REST

Planning for installation
Before you install the IMS™ Mobile Feature Pack, you must understand the general installation process, plan for the use of IBM® Installation Manager for z/OS® for installation, and prepare for the required disk space and user privilege.

Connect requires the user of IBM Installation Manager for z/OS. You must understand the concepts of IBM Installation Manager for z/OS and the general installation process. In addition to the typical SMP/E process for software installation on z/OS, familiarity with z/OS UNIX System Services is required. |
