This guide describes how to install and use the IBM® Watson Explorer Engine LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) connector, which is available for Watson Explorer Engine.
The LDAP connector enables Watson Explorer Engine applications to crawl LDAP servers to collect user information for use with Watson Explorer applications.
To use the LDAP connector, you create one search collection. Due to the nature of an LDAP repository a security or "user" collection is not necessary. The procedure to configure the collection, as well as considerations you should make regarding security and API usage, are described in this documentation.
