Product version and history information
You can determine the installed version of the product by looking at the version and the build date (also specified as a build number) that is displayed in the WebSphere® Application Server administrative console welcome page or in the output of the versionInfo command.
The first six digits of the build level represent the year and month the installed product
version was released, for example:
- IBM® Business Process Manager Version 8.5.7.0 starts with "201603"
- IBM Business Process Manager Version 8.5.6.0 starts with "201503"
- IBM Business Automation Workflow Enterprise Version 18.0.0.2 starts with "201812"
- IBM Business Automation Workflow Enterprise Version 19.0.0.2 starts with "201906"
- IBM Business Automation Workflow Enterprise Version 20.0.0.1 starts with "202006"

You can also determine the version and build level from the Java™ virtual machine (JVM) SystemOut.log header information, for
example:
