Playing back events

Play back some or all of the recorded events based on your filter criteria.

About this task

Event playback is not intended for the high volumes associated with production systems, but is recommend for development environments only. Event recording, however, does not have the same limitations.

Access this administrative console page by clicking Applications > Monitor Services > Recorded Event Management > Event Playback.

To play back events, complete the following steps:

Procedure

Under Target Model Version, select the model version from the list.
In the Select field, choose the recorded events that you want to play back:
1. To select all events, click the icon with the check mark.
2. To enter filter criteria to select specific events, click the icon with the down arrow to open the Recorded Event Filter Properties window.
  Note: For information on filtering events, refer to Recorded-event filter properties.
Click Playback to play back the recorded events that are selected or click Play Back All to play back all recorded events.
