Migrating administrative scripts

You can migrate administrative scripts to Version 9.0 from Version 7.0 or later by using scripting and the wsadmin tool.

Procedure

  • Be aware of removed features that might have an impact on administration scripts, including the following items.
    • Support for the Secure Authentication Service (SAS) IIOP security protocol
    • Support for the Common Connector Framework (CCF)
    • Support for the IBM® Cloudscape Version 5.1.x database
    • Support for the following Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) drivers:
      • Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Driver for JDBC
      • WebSphere SequeLink JDBC driver for Microsoft SQL Server
    • [z/OS]Use of JSSE instead of System SSL for all servers except the Daemon
    • [z/OS] DB2® for zOS Local JDBC Provider (RRS).
