Document Builder - Everyday users

Document Builder - Report designers

Report designers can hide complexity from everyday users:

  • New sample assets are available for report designers to use, for example templates, snippets, scripts, and style sheets. The sample assets are designed to work with specific data sources, for example Rational DOORS® or Rational Quality Manager. See Document Builder samples for information on how to generate the sample assets.
  • Report designers can upload and work with JavaScript files.
JavaScript files appear under the Scripts tab.
  • Report designers can select all the assets in a view by clicking the check box in the table heading.
    Select all check box
  • Report designers can select multiple templates and click the Create Report from Template icon Create report from template to load the selected templates into the Design reports page. See Creating reports from templates.
