Configuring the Windows service

For IBM® Content Analytics with Enterprise Search to function correctly, the Windows service needs to be set to start automatically.

To verify that the Windows service is set to start automatically:

  1. Click Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
  2. Verify that the startup type for the IBM Content Analytics with Enterprise Search service is set to automatic. If the service is not running, start it.
