Troubleshooting

The first step in troubleshooting is to view the log files that are produced by the Health Center client and agent. Then read the information provided for some of the common problems that you might encounter.

Log file locations

Health Center client
Log output from the Health Center client is stored in the main Eclipse or IBM® Support Assistant logs.
  • In Eclipse, click Window > Show View > Other..., expand General, then click Error Log.
  • In IBM Support Assistant, click Help > Support > View Log, or Help > Support > View Trace.
Monitoring agent
The monitoring agent produces a log file in your user temporary directory.
