Explanation
Because the file space has been the subject of at least one progressive incremental backup, the MODE=INCREMENTAL option (incremental by image date) cannot be used with the backup image command.

User response
If an image backup of the named file space is desired, retry the command without the MODE=INCREMENTAL option. To prevent this behavior in the future, delete the file space from the server and do only BACKUP IMAGE -mode=selective and BACKUP IMAGE -mode=incremental from that point on.
