Explanation
For removable media, Tivoli Storage Manager uses the volume label as the file space name. To prevent data from different volumes being stored in the same file space on the Tivoli Storage Manager server, backup or archive of removable media volumes having duplicate volume labels is not allowed.

User response
Change the volume labels on the removable media volumes so that there are no duplicate labels. Then restart Tivoli Storage Manager and try the operation again.
