The following are the requirements for installing IBM® XL Fortran for Blue Gene®/Q, V14.1:
On the Blue Gene/Q Front End node, you can use the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.2 (RHEL 6.2) operating system, which is supported by the IBM Power® System servers.
You can use any of the IBM Power Systems™ servers as long as it is supported by your operating system distribution. For a complete list of the new IBM Power Systems servers, see http://www.ibm.com/systems/power/hardware/.
