KM5_PD_CYL_LPARDATA
Specifies the space allocation for the LPARDATA persistent data store group.
Space will be allocated for the persistent data store libraries and for overhead information such
as the product dictionary, table records, index records, and buffers to hold overflow data when
the libraries are full.
Allocate enough storage so that maintenance procedures are
run only once a day. For more information about maintaining the persistent data store, see the
Configuring section in the IBM Tivoli OMEGAMON and Tivoli Management Services on z/OS Shared Documentation.
After installing OMEGAMON for z/OS Version 5.5 Fix Pack 6 or later, you might want to increase the number of cylinders that are configured for this persistent data store group to make room for additional attribute groups that you configure for historical collection.
With Persistent Data Store version 2 (PDS V2), OMEGAMON for z/OS no longer stores historical data in the PLEXDATA group. You might want to increase the number of cylinders that are configured for the LPARDATA group to make room for additional attribute groups that were previously stored in the PLEXDATA group.
