  • IIDR CDC for Oracle 12c failed to retrieve table structure for
a table when MC was loading table mapping details

Local fix

  • N/A

Problem summary

  • IIDR 10.2.1 for Oracle can fail to load a table if the table has
a index using the following clause: COMPRESS ADVANCED LOW while
running against Oracle 12C.

The issue affects users running IIDR 10.2.1 Interim Fix 27 for
Oracle (and lower), and IIDR 11.3.3.2-23 (and lower).

Problem conclusion

  • This issue is fixed by applying IIDR 10.2.1 Interim Fix 28 for
Oracle.

Temporary fix

  • Remove the COMPRESS ADVANCE LOW clause from the index of the
table in question or remove the table from replication.
