Error description

  • THIS APAR INCLUDES FIXES TO VARIOUS DEFECTS IDENTIFIED IN CICS
    INTERDEPENDENCY ANALYZER PLUG-IN FOR CICS EXPLORER.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • - The CICS Interdependency Analyzer V5.3 plug-in is unable to
    connect to an IA Host version earlier than v5.3 and control the
    CICS IA Collector using CICS ATOM services.
    - The CICS IA plug-in does not support purging ENQ/DEQ or TSQ by
    prefix.
    

Problem conclusion

  • CICS Interdependency Analyzer plug-in has been updated to
    correct the failure to connect using CICS ATOM Services and to
    add the function to purge ENQ/DEQ and TSQ by prefix.
    This fix will be made available in Version 5.3.0.3 of the CICS
    IA Plug-in.
