  • Visulization editor changes and filter changes are needed
to support the corrections to deal with inconsistent
TSQUEUE TYPE definitions in CICS IA APAR PI38229.

Problem summary


    

  • This APAR provides support in the CICS Explorer Interdependency
Analyzer plug-in, for CICS Interdependency Analyzer for z/OS
APAR PI38229:
- In the Queries, Command Flow, and Visualization views, TSQNAME
and TSQUEUE AUX fields incorrectly appear on the list of CICS
Types.
- In the Queries and Command Flow views, READQ AUX and WRITEQ
AUX fields are missing from the list of available CICS Commands.
Further support is provided for CICS IA APAR PI22815
compatibility:
- In the Queries view, Command Flow Queries using a remote name
do not produce results.
- In the Command Flow view the Remote Name and Remote Sysid
information is incorrect.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • TSQUEUE Type and Command definitions are corrected to be
consistent with those in CICS IA Host (when APAR PI38229 is also
applied).
The Remote Name and Remote Sysid information from Command Flow
can be queried and presented successfully (when APAR PI22815 is
also applied).
This fix will be made available in version 5.1.1.7 and version
5.2.0.4 of the CICS
Interdependency Analyzer plug-in for CICS Explorer.
