Error description

• THIS APAR INCLUDES FIXES TO VARIOUS DEFECTS IDENTIFIED IN THE
  CICS CONFIGURATION MANAGER FOR ZOS PLUG-IN.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• This APAR addresses two issues found with the CICS Configuration
  Manager plug-in for CICS Explorer.
  1) Unable to copy/paste CICS Resources definitions from one
  configuration to another configuration. The paste option is
  disabled on the right-click context menu. This occurs because
  the CM context menu handler is overridden by another context
  handler.
  2) Unable to migrate a package where an approval step forms part
  of the workflow. This occurs because the CM plug-in did not
  correctly handle the Approval state.  The CICS CM Change Package
  APPROVAL was not recognized by the CICS CM plug-in.  As a result
  when a MIGRATE command was issued, the MIGRATE failed with a
  message that the Package was not approved. The CICS CM plug-in
  does not currently support the APPROVAL function of CICS CM,
  therefore the
  APPROVAL function has to be performed using the ISPF interface.
  Once this APPROVAL is performed, the CICS CM plug-in should
  recognize the APPROVAL status of the PACKAGE. It was not doing
  this and the MIGRATE command failed.
  

Problem conclusion

• The CICS Configuration Manager plug-in has been updated to
  address the issues described above.
  1) The CM context menu handler has been updated to be more
  tightly defined, so that it will be given priority over that of
  the CICS Explorer.
  2) The CM plug-in has been updated to ensure that the Approval
  state can be correctly processed, allowing a migration to occur.
  This fix will be made available in Version V5.2.0.2 of the CICS
  Configuration Manager for z/OS plug-in for CICS Explorer.
