JR32587: DB2 ZLOAD FACILITY ISSUE.

Error description

• This customer is using the DB2ZLoad facility in  DataStage 7.5.3
  on AIX to load large
  amounts of data into DB2 on z/OS. They are using MVS datasets
  (not using the BatchPipe option)
  and DB2ZLoad is working well except for when it allocates the
  MVS datasets.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  When customer is using the DB2ZLoad facility in  DataStage 7.5.3
  on AIX to load large amounts of data into DB2 on z/OS and when
  they are using MVS datasets (not using the BatchPipe option),
  we may have a problem when the operator allocates the MVS
  datasets.

  Apply the patch for JR32587

Problem conclusion

• The issue is that we have a inconsistency in the way we do the
  allocation. We tell the FTP to allocate in BLOCKS, while we
  tell the DB2 LOAD utility to allocate in CYLINDERS. We need to
  be consistent so that customers can use the -rowest option to
  allocate datasets of accurate size.
  
  The operator will create datasets in CYLINDERS or TRACKS, both
  in FTP and in LOAD utility.
