APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Length of Sql Select in the where clause seems to get truncated
  at a certain size at runtime, which results in a runtime error
  code of 139.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  Length of Sql String gets truncated when it reaches a certain
  size. The following 2 environment variables were removed as
  of this APAR: APT_ORA_IGNORE_CONFIG_FILE_PARALLELISM and
  APT_ORACLE_NO_AUTO_FILE. After applying this fix these
  environment variables will have no effect.

Problem conclusion

• There is a method in the operator rewriteStatementWithTrim()
  which is doing hacks on the SQL statement under certain
  conditions. This method tries to hold the result of operations
  in an internal buffer of size 1K.  Unfortunately having a
  biggerSQL statement is causing buffer over run and promptly
  follwoed  by a segmentation violation and a core dump.
  
   The method itself is not needed any longer.
