Abstract
Support of Huawei devices is only available with IBM Spectrum Control 5.3 versions listed below. Huawei devices are not supported in IBM Spectrum Control 5.4.0 or higher. Huawei devices are not supported in IBM Storage Insights.

Limitations and considerations
- The interop namespace is /interop
- 1 Provisioning with this provider and devices requires a minimum firmware of V500R007C00, and only applies to Spectrum Control 5.3.x.
- 2 Performance monitoring with this provider and devices requires a minimum firmware of V300R003
- 3 When viewing Type and Model of the device, the data returned from the HAUWEI SMI-S Provider is a combination of Type, Model, firmware, and build numbers.
