IBM has provided customers with a Software Product Compatibility Reports (SPCR) tool where you can locate and find complete lists of supported operating systems, system requirements, prerequisites, and optional supported software for IBM MQ Appliance M2000 and M2001 V9 Continuous Delivery release.

The SPCR tool links to information about the minimum product levels that must be installed before opening a problem report with IBM WebSphere MQ Technical Support. The software versions and any maintenance levels listed in the tool have been explicitly verified as working.

IBM MQ Appliance hardware and firmware support lifecycle
  • IBM MQ Appliance firmware
    IBM MQ Appliance firmware on a specific hardware model is supported for defect and security fixes until the earlier of a) the MQ Appliance hardware reaches its End of Support date or b) the version/release of the equivalent IBM MQ software product reaches its End of Support date. The link above displays a table showing when each firmware release reaches End of Support on each hardware model.

    IBM MQ Appliance hardware End of Support dates are documented at the link above. When MQ Appliance hardware reaches its End of Support date all available firmware releases for the hardware also reach End of Support.
