Abstract
Beginning with Watson Explorer Advanced Edition Version 11.0.0.1, the process of enabling index fields to be used as date facets is simplified.

In previous versions of Watson Explorer Content Analytics, you had to go through several steps to enable index fields to be used as date facets in the content analytics miner.
Now, when you create an index field, or create index fields from fields crawled by a JDBC database crawler, you can enable both Faceted search and Parametric search [Date]. When both of these attributes are enabled, the new index field will automatically be created as a date facet.
You can configure these attributes only when you create an index field on the Create an Index Field page or Options for a JDBC Database Table page.
