4. NEW AND CHANGED BEHAVIOR
============================================================

Deprecated RFC-based adapters

The RFC-based adapters, for example, the ALE, BAPI, and BDC adapters, are now deprecated.  These adapters are listed in adapters.xml with a deprecated label. This label is visible when the adapters are viewed in WebSphere Transformation Extender Design Studio. The SAP RFC library on which these adapters are based will no longer be supported by SAP after March 31, 2016.  While the RFC-based adapters can be used in this release, you should be aware that they will be removed in a future release of the Pack for SAP.  You should instead, use the JALE and JBAPI adapters.
