Description
Tivoli Storage Manager for Virtual Environments: Data Protection for VMware V7.1.2 helps you to protect your virtual machine (VM) data by offloading backup workloads from a VMware ESX or ESXi-based host to a centralized server. Data Protection for VMware works with the IBM® Tivoli Storage Manager backup-archive client (installed on the centralized server) to complete full and incremental backups of VMs. These backups are available for full VM, file level, and instant restore operations. Instant restore is available at the disk volume level and full VM level. In addition, protection of vApps and Organization VDCs in a vCloud Director environment is available. Multiple interface components are included to help you protect your VMs.
