Description

IBM SPSS Statistics is the world’s leading statistical software used to solve business and research problems by means of ad-hoc analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive analytics. Organizations use IBM SPSS Statistics to understand data, analyze trends, forecast and plan to validate assumptions and drive accurate conclusions.

Known issues

At time of publication, the following issues were known.

Issue: If you use OMS to export to PDF, charts and interactive output objects created by the following procedures are blank: TCM MODEL, TCM APPLY, TCM ANALYSIS, SPATIAL TEMPORAL PREDICTION, SPATIAL ASSOCIATION RULES.
Solution: This issue does not occur when you use OUTPUT EXPORT to export to PDF.

Issue: If you install the application in a location that includes multi-byte (non-western) characters in the path, some procedures will not run in Unicode mode.
Solution: Install the application in a location that only contains western characters in the path or switch to code page mode in the application (SET UNICODE OFF).

Issue: Model PMML files generated by COXREG produce incorrect values for the survival function when scored with the ApplyModel function if the status variable used in COXREG has a format with no decimals (for example, F2.0).
Solution: Assign a format that contains at least one decimal. For example:
FORMATS StatusVar (F4.1).

Issue: Model PMML files generated by CSLOGISTIC, CSORDINAL, GENLIN, GENLINMIXED, TREE, and NAIVEBAYES produce incorrect results when scored with ApplyModel function if the target categorical variable has non-integer values (for example, 0.5).

Issue: You cannot install the license server administration tools on Windows Server 2012.

Issue: You cannot run the network license version of the application on Linux operating systems.

Issue: On the 32-bit Windows version of the application, you cannot import XML data with the 32-bit XML driver installed with the SPSS Data Access pack.
