Additional information
Known problems and their workarounds (if any):

This section outlines the known problems and their workarounds (if any) of the IBM Integration Bus Healthcare Pack, by component.

Installation
  • Installation of IBM Integration Bus Healthcare Pack Version 3.0.0.1 on computers that have a previous version installed is not supported

    • To install IBM Integration Bus Healthcare Pack Version 3.0.0.1 you must first remove any existing installations of the IBM Integration Bus Healthcare Pack or IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare.

  • Uninstallation on HP-UX appears to be unresponsive

    • Symptom:
On HP-UX, if you uninstall IBM Integration Bus Healthcare Pack, the uninstallation seems to be unresponsive for long periods of time. The uninstallation might also seem to be unresponsive while it is reporting that it is removing an item.

      Solution:
Wait for the uninstallation to complete. The uninstallation is running normally, but on some machine configurations it might take longer than expected to complete. If the uninstallation is unresponsive and stays on the same panel for longer than 30 minutes, cancel the uninstallation. If any of the following directories or files remain, remove them:

      • The HealthcarePack directory, the default location is:
      /opt/IBM/HealthcarePack/Version

where Version is the version of IBM Integration Bus Healthcare Pack.

      • If you installed the "Web-based monitoring" component, remove the HealthcareWebMonitoringPack_Version file. The default location is:
      /var/mqsi/common/profiles/HealthcareWebMonitoring_Version.sh
where Version is the version of IBM Integration Bus Healthcare Pack.

Platforms
  • No known issues

IBM Integration Explorer
  • No known issues

IBM Integration Toolkit
  • You receive the following error: 'Building workspace' has encountered a problem

    • Symptom:
The IBM Integration Toolkit reports the following error when a HIPAA library is imported into the workspace, or when one of the HIPAA library schema files is modified and saved:

'Building workspace' has encountered a problem.
An internal error occurred during: 'Building workspace'

If you click 'Details', the following text is shown:

An internal error occurred during: 'Building workspace'
      java.lang.StackOverflowError

      Solution:

      • On Windows:

      • 1. Close the IBM Integration Toolkit
        2. Locate the directory where the IBM Integration Toolkit is installed:
          a. In the Start menu, right-click 'IBM Integration Bus Toolkit' and select 'Properties'.
          b. Look in the 'Target' field for the path to the installation directory.
        3. Specify a larger stack size in the eclipse.ini file:
          a. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the installation directory.
          b. Open the eclipse.ini file in an editor of your choice.
          c. Add a new line that contains the text: -Xss4m
        4. Start the IBM Integration Toolkit.
      • On Linux:

      • 1. Close the IBM Integration Toolkit.
        2. Locate the directory where the IBM Integration Toolkit is installed. The default location is:
        /opt/IBM/IntegrationToolkit9*
        3. Specify a larger stack size in the eclipse.ini file:
          a. Using a file explorer or command line, navigate to the installation directory.
          b. Open the eclipse.ini file in an editor of your choice. You might require root permissions for this step.
          c. Add a new line that contains the text: -Xss4m
        4. Start the IBM Integration Toolkit.

IBM Integration Bus
  • Deployment of DICOM configurable service fails

    • Symptom:
When you deploy a DICOM configurable service, the deployment fails and an abend file is generated.

      Solution:
Apply IBM Integration Bus APAR IT00518.

This issue is fixed in IBM Integration Bus Version 9.0.0.2.

Nodes
  • No known issues

Web-based monitoring
  • If administration security is enabled, two requests are seen to log in when accessing web-based monitoring

    • Symptom:
When you open the web-based monitoring web page and administration security is enabled a login window is displayed. After you enter your username and password, a second login window is displayed.

      Solution:
Enter your login details in both windows. Use the same username and the same password in each window.

This issue is fixed in IBM Integration Bus Version 9.0.0.2.

  • No information is shown in the clinical application monitoring view

    • Symptom:
When you open the clinical application monitoring view, column titles are shown, but no information is shown in the table.

      Solution:
Ensure that the pattern you want to monitor is deployed to the integration node that is enabled for web-based monitoring. If you created your pattern in IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare, you must regenerate the pattern in IBM Integration Bus Healthcare Pack and then redploy it.

This issue is fixed in IBM Integration Bus Healthcare Pack Version 3.0.0.1.

  • Web-based monitoring reports Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 as an unsupported web browser

    • Symptom:
When you open the web-based monitoring web page on Microsoft Internet Explorer 11, the following message is shown: "You are using an unsupported web browser. Supported browsers are Google Chrome 30, Microsoft Internet Explorer 10, and Mozilla Firefox 24, or higher." This message is shown every time the web-based monitoring web page is opened.

      Solution:
Click "Dismiss" to hide the message. Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 is supported.
