Basic process triggering using runmqtrm defined as a service in WebSphere MQ 7.5 and 8.0

White Papers

Abstract

The objective of this document is to provide the step-by-step details for defining a process that will be triggered by the arrival of a message into a queue in a WebSphere MQ queue manager.

In addition, the trigger monitor, runmqtrm, will be defined as a Service, controlled by the queue manager. That is, when the queue manager starts, the trigger monitor will start, and when the queue manager ends, the trigger monitor will end.
