Abstract

This document describes how to access the system requirements for IBM DataPower Gateway.

The system requirements reports describe the minimum product levels to install before you open a service ticket with the IBM Support. Because other products frequently provide fixes, updates, and new releases, IBM does not test every possible configuration. In general, you can install and run with updates to supported products if those updates are compatible with later versions.

Your entitlement to IBM Support, if any, is dependent on your license and maintenance agreements for DataPower Gateway. Support is limited to your use of the relevant prerequisite with a supported DataPower Gateways product.


Use the IBM Software Product Compatibility Reports (SPCR) tool creates reports that list hardware and software compatibility. The reports that SPCR generates provide details about hardware and software requirements for the different IBM DataPower® Gateway offerings.

  1. Open Detailed system requirements for a specific product.
  2. Enter datapower as the product.
  3. From the search results, select IBM DataPower Gateway.
  4. From the version controls, select your version.
  5. Use the products filters to refine the contents.
  6. Click Submit.
