Abstract
The following table displays the supported IBM Content Manager V8.5 component and product compatibility combinations, and covers all current modification releases. The combinations apply to installations on separate machines.

Notes:
Server components: library server or resource manager
Client components: Client for Windows, eClient, system administration client, Content Manager API or Information Integrator for Content (II4C)
For DB2 Text Search support, all system administrator, Information Integrator for Content (II4C), and library server need to be at the same Content Manager V8.5 level.
In Content Manager V8.5 level, Client component does not include eClient or Client for Windows.
x: Supported
For example, in the table above, the 8.4.3 (client) is supported on 8.5 (server), which includes the following combinations:
Information Integrator for Content V8.4.3 on library server V8.5 or resource manager V8.5
Client for Windows V8.4.3 on library server V8.5 or resource manager V8.5
System administration client V8.4.3 on library server V8.5 or resource manager V8.5

Customers are recommended to install or upgrade the library server first and then install or upgrade the resource manager. Therefore, the cells for V8.5 resource manager to V8.4.2 and V8.4.3 library server are not marked with x in the table.
