Abstract

The table below provides the system requirements for Application Client for WebSphere Application Server v8.5 in different levels and organization of detail.

This document describes the minimum product levels that need to be installed before opening a problem report with the WebSphere Application Server Support team. Because other products frequently ship fixes, updates, and new releases, testing every configuration is not possible. In general, you can install and run with updates to supported products if those updates are forward compatible.

Note:
  • Application Client for WebSphere Application Server has been tested as a 32-bit application on a 32-bit kernel and on 64-bit machines booted with 64-bit kernels; however, 64-bit mode is not exploited.
  • Application Client for WebSphere Application Server ships only with 32-bit WebSphere Application Server on all supported platforms, with the exception of HPUX-IA64, where it ships only with 64-bit WebSphere Application Server.
