Problem during document delivery to the output directory of the SFTP Destination, which is connected to the WPG Integrated SFTP Server

Product Documentation

Abstract

This technote includes the problem definition, symptom, and resolution.

Content

Problem
Document delivery to a SFTP Destination created on WPG 6.2 FP4a that is connected to the Integrated SFTP Server fails.

Symptom
The following error would be reported in the SFTP logs when using the SFTP destination: "Caused by: com.ibm.j2ca.ftp.exception.FTPOperationsException: 2: No such file: <directory location>".
Resolving the problem
Perform the following steps to resolve this problem:

1. Navigate to the output directory of the SFTP user that is used to connect to the WPG Integrated SFTP Server and create a dummy folder. For example, /opt/IBM/bcghub-distrib/ftpserver/<ftpadmin>/<dummyfolder>.

The ftpadmin value is a variable, as it is user specific. The dummy folder has to be created for all the SFTP users.

Note: The SFTP Destination created should be using the same SFTP user to connect to the WPG Integrated SFTP Server.
