      3. KNOWN LIMITATIONS, PROBLEMS, AND WORKAROUNDS
      =====================================================================

      Starting and dismissing the Information Center
      ----------------------------------------------
      For information on starting and dismissing the information center from the Windows start menu, see the WebSphere Transformation Extender documentation release notes.

      =====================================================================
      4. NEW AND CHANGED BEHAVIOR
      =====================================================================

      Payment Type Information
      ------------------------
      Local Instrument is now a mandatory element, however, CORE and CORE plus AOS schemas have not been updated by the EPC to include this element.

      Renaming EBA STEP2 Schemas
      --------------------------
      As members of the EBA, these schemas can be obtained and must be copied into the mapsandschemas directory to be used by the validation framework. The files must be renamed because they are named the same as the UNIFI ISO 20022 schemas that are currently in the mapsandschemas directory. Rename the files as shown in the following table:

      FROMTO
      credit transfer pacs.002.001.01.xsdpacs.002.001.01s2ct.xsd
      direct debit pacs.002.001.01.xsdpacs.002.001.01s2dd.xsd
      credit transfer pacs.004.001.01s2ct.xsdpacs.004.001.01s2ct.xsd
      direct debit pacs.004.001.01.xsdpacs.004.001.01s2dd.xsd
      credit transfer pacs.006.001.01.xsdpacs.006.001.01s2ct.xsd
      direct debit pacs.006.001.01.xsdpacs.006.001.01s2dd.xsd
      credit transfer pacs.008.001.01.xsdpacs.008.001.01s2ct.xsd
      direct debit pacs.003.001.01.xsdpacs.003.001.01s2dd.xsd
      direct debit pacs.007.001.01.xsdpacs.007.001.01s2dd.xsd

      Validation of pacs.002.001.02
      --------------------------
      In order to validate the EBS pacs.002.001.02 Payment Status - Individual Reject Instruction, you must make a modification to run the map input card.

      To do this, perform the following steps:
        1. Open sepavalidation.mms in the WebSphere Transformation Extender Design Studio map designer.

        2. Open the sepvalid map and navigate to rule FileType[18] in output card titled 'outputcard'.

        3. Revise the rule to change 'false' to 'true' in this line:

        IF ( Value:NVP WorkTemp [26]:Global WorkArea element:outputcard = "ST2" , "true", "false" ) ))

        4. Use the enter key to save the rule, and then rebuild the map.

      Rules not validated by EBA Direct Debit validation
      --------------------------------------------------
      It should be noted that EBA Direct Debit Validation does NOT validate the following rules:
      • pacs.003.001.01 - Required Collection Date is not being validated against Submission Dates or Target Dates because the information needed to perform the validation is not available to the map.
      • pacs.003.001.01 - Local Instrument Code only allows the value "CORE", and not "B2B", since "B2B" is not allowed by the EPC rules.
      • pacs.006.001.01 - Local Instrument Code only allows the value "CORE", and not "B2B", since "B2B" is not allowed by the EPC rules.
      • pacs.007.001.01 - Local Instrument Code only allows the value "CORE", and not "B2B", since "B2B" is not allowed by the EPC rules.

      Display SEPA validation in languages that use double-byte characters
      --------------------------------------------------------------------
      To display SEPA validation and error messages in alternate languages that use double-byte characters, the errorxml.mtt type tree must be modified. Modify the type tree as follows:
      1. Open the errorxml.mtt type tree and right click on the top level element called Error, then select Properties.
      2. Right click on the Item Subclass and select Expand All, then navigate to the National Language section. In this section, change the Data Language from Native to UTF-8.
      3. Right click on the words Data Language that appear in the left panel, and select Propogate. This causes the value for the data language for all elements of the tree to change.
      4. Right click on the Type Syntax and select Expand All. Navigate to the Initiator and change the value from None to Literal. This action enables the subelements for this group.
      5. Select National Language -> Data Language and change the value from Native to UTF-8.
      6. Right click on the words Data Language that appear in the left panel, and select Propogate. This causes the value for the data language for all elements of the tree to change.
      7. Repeat steps 4 through 6 (of this procedure) for the Terminator and Release properties.
      8. Analyze and save the type tree.
      9. Rebuild the seplib05_extract_error_msg map in the sepavalidation.mms map source and deploy.
      10. Replace the default English version of sepamsgs.xml resource file with the desired language resource located in the subdirectory titled res.

      NOTE: Even after performing the above procedure, the entire message still will not be converted. The message header will still have native encoding, but the error messages will display correctly in UTF-8 format after this change has been made.
