Security in WDI
To secure DB2 Tables used in WDI, Appendix A of the WDI v 3.3 Administration and Security Guide describes 5 scenarios that an installation might want to consider in securing tables from WDI Client users.
The scenarios identify roles that could be used to implement these additional security measures. The roles are identified in Appendix A and are named:
edi administrator
mapper
operator
system integrator
system administrator
The IBM DB2 DDL used to suggest permissions for each role are included below.
