Abstract

Data source requirements for InfoSphere Classic Federation Server for z/OS V9.5, InfoSphere Classic Data Event Publisher for z/OS V9.5, InfoSphere Classic Connector for z/OS V9.5, and InfoSphere Classic Replication Server for z/OS V9.5

Content

Support is provided for the data sources shown in Table 1 as follows:

  • InfoSphere® Classic Federation Server for z/OS® V9.5 and the data access features of InfoSphere Classic Connector for z/OS V9.5 support all the data sources shown in the table, one data source per product feature. All InfoSphere Classic Federation Server for z/OS V9.5 product features provide access to sequential data at the level shown in the table.
  • InfoSphere Classic Replication Server for z/OS V9.5, InfoSphere Classic Data Event Publisher for z/OS V9.5, and the data capture features of InfoSphere Classic Connector for z/OS V9.5 support Computer Associates CA-IDMS, IMS, Software AG Adabas, and VSAM, one data source per product feature.

  • Classic Federation Server for z/OS supports all listed versions.
  • Classic Replication Server for z/OS and Classic Data Event Publisher for z/OS support versions 7.4.x, 7.1.3

VSAM:
  • CICS® access is supported for CICS Transaction Server V2.2, V2.3, V3.1, V3.2, V4.1.
  • Native VSAM access is supported for the supported z/OS levels.
  • Transactional VSAM access is supported with DFSMS Transactional VSAM Services (DFSMStys) at the supported z/OS levels. (Classic Federation Server only.)
