An update is available for IBM Spectrum Protect Snapshot Version 4.1. These 4.1.6.3 packages do not contain a license enablement file. You must already have the 4.1.0.x, 4.1.1.x, 4.1.2.x, 4.1.3.x ,4.1.4.x or 4.1.6.x base package to obtain the license enablement file required to use the product. An Interim Fix is available for IBM Spectrum Protect™ Snapshot Version 4.1.6. This interim fix level only delivers packages for a subset of all components supported. The table below shows the platforms associated with this interim fix level.

Starting with IBM Spectrum Protect Snapshot for VMware Version 4.1.6.3 the supported version of IBM Spectrum Protect™ for Virtual Environments Data Protection for VMware changed and version 7.1.8.0 or higher 7.1.8.x versions of IBM Spectrum Protect™ for Virtual Environments Data Protection for VMware are required.
