Privileged Access Agent version 2.1.0 fix pack 3 introduces the following changes:
Windows 10 Anniversary Update, version 1607
Windows 10, version 1607 (also known as the Anniversary Update) is now supported.
- The UI Automation extension is installed automatically. Two new UI Automation actions will be displayed in AccessStudio. The following actions are:
- Get Element Text - UI Automation
- Set Element Text - UI Automation
The Click a button - UI Automation action is now renamed to Click an element - UI Automation. No changes are required for existing AccessProfiles that use the Click a button - UI Automation action. See Windows UI Automation extension. - AccessProfile for the Internet Explorer client has been updated to be fully compatible with Windows 10 Anniversary Update, version 1607. See Updating the AccessProfiles.
Note: The AccessProfile for the Remote Desktop client is not compatible with Windows 10, version 1607.
Resolved defects or APARS
The following defects or APARs are resolved:
- APAR IV90742
Credentials might not be injected into the Windows Credential Provider after the user logs on to ESSO Credential Provider. - APAR IV91239
In Windows 10, when a Windows password change is required, you might not be able to enter a new password. - APAR IV91352
The user wallet might get locked prematurely. - APAR IV94029
Single sign-on to applications might occasionally stop working.
Prerequisites
This fix pack contains the following files:
- 2.1.0-ISPIM-AA-FP0003_32.msp
- 2.1.0-ISPIM-AA-FP0003_64.msp
Before you install this fix pack, ensure that you have installed the following version of Privileged Access Agent.
- Privileged Access Agent 2.1.0.0130 (GA)
Installation Instructions
Review the following instructions.
- Install the Privileged Access Agent fix pack with one of the following ways:
- Update the AccessProfiles.
Installing the Privileged Access Agent fix pack
- Download the Privileged Access Agent installer file from Fix Central into your local computer. For example: C:\Temp.
- For Windows 32-bit: 2.1.0-ISPIM-AA-FP0003_32.msp
- For Windows 64-bit: 2.1.0-ISPIM-AA-FP0003_64.msp
- Run the Privileged Access Agent installer file with administrator privileges.
- For Windows 32-bit: msiexec /p "2.1.0-ISPIM-AA-FP0003_32.msp"
- For Windows 64-bit: msiexec /p "2.1.0-ISPIM-AA-FP0003_64.msp"
- Click Finish. The Privileged Access Agent Installer Information window is displayed.
- Click Yes.
- Restart the computer.
- Right-click the Privileged Access Agent tray icon in the system tray and select About Privileged Access Agent. The Privileged Access Agent version is displayed.
If you successfully installed 2.1.0-ISPIM-AA-FP0003, the Privileged Access Agent version is updated to 2.1.0.0143 and the Privileged Access Agent maintenance level is FP0003.
Installing the Privileged Access Agent fix pack silently
You can also choose to install the fix pack silently.
Before you begin
Ensure that you have administrator privileges.
Procedure
Use the following script for silent installation on a command line.
- For Windows 32-bit: msiexec /p "2.1.0-ISPIM-AA-FP0003_32.msp" /quiet
- For Windows 64-bit: msiexec /p "2.1.0-ISPIM-AA-FP0003_64.msp" /quiet
Updating the AccessProfiles
Go to the AccessProfile Library and download the updated AccessProfile.
Post Installation
- If single sign-on for Java applications must be enabled, run JVMSupport.vbs.
See Enabling single sign-on for Java applications.
- The administrator is required to delete all existing Recorder log files.
