Resolved defects and APARs
This fix pack contains fixes for the following issues that were found in the IBM Security Access Manager for Enterprise Single Sign-On AccessAgent, Version 8.2.1 release:

  • APAR IV83885
    Custom dialog box labels for an authentication service are not applied.


The following fixes apply to users of the IBM Security Privileged Identity Manager solution:

  • APAR IV86044
    Users might experience slowness in applications that are monitored by the session recorder.
  • Defect
    Session Recording might fail to prompt the user for consent in certain scenarios. Therefore, the targeted application is not recorded.
  • Defect
    Session Recorder fails with PuTTY 0.67. Download the updated PuTTY AccessProfile.

 

UPDATE for IBM Security Privileged Identity Manager only: Starting from August 2018, to obtain the latest fix packs and support for the AccessAgent client, download Privileged Access Agent 2.1.1. For more information, see compatibility announcement.

Installation Instructions

Installing the AccessAgent fix pack

  1. Download the AccessAgent installer file from Fix Central into your local computer. For example: C:\Temp.
    • For Windows 32-bit: 8.2.1-ISS-SAMESSO-AA-FP0019_32.msp
    • For Windows 64-bit: 8.2.1-ISS-SAMESSO-AA-FP0019_64.msp
  2. Run the AccessAgent installer file with administrator privileges.
  3. Note: For Windows 7, right-click cmd.exe and choose Run as Administrator.

  34. Right-click the AccessAgent tray icon in the system tray and select About ISAM ESSO AccessAgent. The AccessAgent version is displayed.
    If you successfully installed 8.2.1-ISS-SAMESSO-AA-FP0019, the AccessAgent version is updated to 8.2.1.1157 and the AccessAgent maintenance level is FP0019.

Ensure that you have administrator privileges.

Procedure
Use the following script for silent installation on a command line. Note: For Windows 7, right-click cmd.exe and choose Run as Administrator.
