Prerequisites

Prerequisites include:

Version of IBM Installation Manager required: IBM Installation Manager 1.8.2.1 or later.

IBM Rational Publishing Engine 2.0 must be installed to apply this iFix.

Installation Instructions

You can install the iFix by updating your installation using IBM Installation Manager.

  1. Start IBM Installation Manager.
  2. Click File > Preferences. The Preferences dialog opens.
  3. Click Repositories and then click Add Repository. The Add Repository dialog opens.
  4. In the Repository field, enter https://www.ibm.com/software/repositorymanager/com.ibm.rational.rpe.off… and then click OK.
  5. Click OK to close the dialog.
  6. In IBM Installation Manager, click Update. Follow the instructions in the dialog to install the Rational Publishing Engine iFix 002 2.0.0 package.

To update the Remote Services, deploy the new WAR files (rpeng.war, dgaas.war, or rpews.war) on Tomcat or WebSphere Application Server.

After updating the remote applications, clear your browser cache.

Incomplete: An error in the MDV has not regressed, but does not work as designed.

Notes:
  • Regression and incomplete APARs are considered fix-in-error or MDV-in-error
