Abstract

This document describes how to download the installation images for IBM® SmartCloud® Virtual Storage Center Storage Analytics Engine V5.2.2 using Passport Advantage® Online website

Download Description

SmartCloud Virtual Storage Center Storage Analytics Engine provides comprehensive end-to-end storage management, including the capabilities available in the Tivoli Storage Productivity Center license.

Hardware requirements

Downloading and assembling the product

  1. Log on to Passport Advantage.
  2. Click Customer sign in.
  3. Enter your IBM ID and password, and click Sign in.
  4. Click Software download and media access.
  5. Click Download finder, and then click View all my downloads.
  6. Navigate to find the SmartCloud Virtual Storage Center Storage Analytics Engine download parts.
  7. Select the SmartCloud Virtual Storage Center Storage Analytics Engine parts that you require. The parts are described by platform in the tabbed sections of this document.
  8. Click I Agree followed by Download Now.
  9. When the download is complete, unpack the part into a separate temporary directory.
  10. (Optional) Use an MD5 compatible checksum utility to verify the integrity of the files you download. For instructions, see Running checksum to verify installation images.
  11. Follow the instructions in the IBM SmartCloud Virtual Storage Center Storage Analytics Engine V5.2.2 Quick Start Guide to install the product.

Installation Instructions

Retrieve a copy of the IBM SmartCloud Virtual Storage Center Storage Analytics Engine V5.2.2 Quick Start Guide. The Quick Start Guide is available with the product and is included on the IBM SmartCloud Virtual Storage Center Storage Analytics Engine V5.2.2 Quick Start Guide DVD. Follow the instructions in the Quick Start Guide to install the product.
