Download Description
You can use Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software Build Utility to automate the process of building applications created from the Rational Application Developer product. The inputs into the build utility are projects developed using Rational Application Developer, and the output is the code compiled and packaged into JAR, WAR and EAR files. The build utility is an optional, stand-alone utility and is separately installed.
Prerequisites
You need up to 2.2 GB of disk space to install the update. To download and extract the compressed installation files, you need up to an additional 3.7 GB of disk space.

Download Package
Download the build utility files required for your platform from Fix Central by following the link further below. You can download the fix pack from Fix Central using either Download Director or HTTP.
- Click the link to Fix Central.
- Under fix pack: 8.0.4.3-Rational-RAD-groupfixpack (IBM Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software Version 8.0.4.3), click Show contained fixes.
- Ensure that you select 8.0.4.3-Rational-RBU-fixzippack (Rational Build Utility Offering version 8.0.4.3).
- Note: If your download option is set to Download Director, then if you click Download Now you will download installation files for both the z/OS operating system and for Microsoft Windows or Linux.
To download installation files for individual platforms:
- Change your download method to FTP or HTTP:
- Click Change download options.
- Select either Download using your browser (HTTP) or Download using bulk FTP and then click Continue.
- Click the build utility update files for your platform to download them. The files are:
