Abstract

This fix pack updates WebSphere Operational Decision Management V7.5, V7.5.0.1, V7.5.0.2, and V7.5.0.3.

Download Description

The V7.5.0.4 fix pack delivers WebSphere Operational Decision Management V7.5.0.3 with IBM JDK 6 SR13.
Note: For HPUX, the fix pack includes IBM JDK 6 SR12.

If you already have V7.5.0.3 installed, this update will only change the JDK. For versions V7.5 to V7.5.0.2, this fix pack updates everything to V7.5.0.3, including the JDKs.

After you run the fix pack, the product will be identified as V7.5.0.3, and not V7.5.0.4, on your computer.

This fix pack is entitled. Only customers who have purchased WebSphere Operational Decision Management V7.5 can use this fix pack.

Installation Instructions

These instructions are for the Decision Center and Decision Server components. If you are updating only one of these components, apply these instructions to that component only.

  1. Unzip the files 7.5.0-WS-WODM_DC-<os>-FP004.zip and 7.5.0-WS-WODM_DS-<os>-FP004.zip.
    To avoid installation problems, extract the files to a dedicated folder, for example, WODM7504_DC or WODM7504_DS.
  2. Launch IBM Installation Manager.
  3. In the toolbar menu, open File > Preferences and do the following:
  4. Select repositories.
  5. Click add Repository ...
  6. Browse to the unzipped folder WODM7504_DC/updates.
  7. Select the file repository.config.
  8. Click add Repository ...
  9. Browse to the unzipped folder WODM7504_DS/updates.
  10. Select the file repository.config.
  11. Make sure both repositories are checked in the repository list Apply, and click OK to close.
  12. Click Update to update your installation.
  13. Follow the instructions in the installer to complete the update.
